Lane Series Regulars Race on Same Program with Pro Mods, Pro Stocks~

The fact that the popular Lane Automotive Bracket Series won’t be a part of the action at this year’s US 131 Northern Nationals doesn’t mean there won’t be opportunities for track regulars to participate in the Aug. 4-6 event featuring the stars of the PDRA (Professional Drag Racers Association).

In addition to Pro Nitrous, Pro Boost, Extreme Pro Stock, Pro 632, Pro Street, Top Sportsman and Top Dragster classes, the PDRA stages an all-inclusive Bracket Bash at each-and-every one of its eight national championship events

The Bracket Bash is open to all those cars that normally would compete on Michigan’s Fastest Track for Lane Series points in the Box, No Box and Sportsman classes.  That’s any dragster, roadster, coupe or sedan traversing the eighth mile in times ranging from 3.70 to 7.49 seconds.

Furthermore, there’ll be PDRA racing in two separate Jr. Dragster classes: Pro Jr. for drivers 13-18 years old and Top Jr. for those 8-12 years old.  The Pro Jr. competition will be against a 7.90 target.  Top Jr. will be a dial-your-own bracket for cars running 8.90 and slower.
