GARY HUNT’S US 131 RACER OF THE WEEK PRESENTED BY AEROQUIP

CHAD SIX SCORES DIFFICULT DOUBLE IN LANE SERIES

Like so many 40-somethings, Parma’s Chad Six is battling a mid-life identity crisis.  Is he a Top ET racer?  Or is he a Modified racer?  As it turns out, he’s both and, in an age of specialization, it is that versatility that sets him apart from his peers.

In the most recent rounds of the Lane Automotive Bracket Series at US 131 Motorsports Park, Chad was able to deep-six the competition two straight days.  He won Top ET on Saturday before prevailing in Modified on Sunday and won eight racing rounds each day.

As a result, he is Gary Hunt’s US 131 Racer of the Week.

A family friend of NHRA Top Fuel legend Dick LaHaie, Six is a past US 131 track champion in Modified (2016) whose roadster is one of the most popular cars in the Lane series.  His success last weekend was fueled by an average reaction time of .014 in Top ET and .028 in Modified as well as from the support of his family, specifically wife Kristen and son Jacob.
