RACERS APPRECIATION BRACKET CHAMPIONSHIPS AT US 131

US 131 Motorsports Park is pleased to announce the inaugural running of the Memorial Day Weekend Racer Appreciation Bracket Championships, May 28-31. In celebration of Memorial Day in honoring those who keep America free, we also want to honor the racers who are no longer here, and their families who have called US 131 Motorsports Park their home track.

Three days of racing for championship points and more than $35,000 in prize money in the track’s Lane Automotive Bracket Series will follow a 4-8 pm test-and-tune session. Back by popular demand, Friday night will feature a Golf Cart race starting at 8pm, officially kicking off the holiday weekend on Friday.

Winners in Top and Modified will take home $2,500 Saturday, $3,000 Sunday and $1,500 Monday. Street winners will pocket $400, $500 and $350, respectively. In addition, there will be daily Jr. Dragster races in three categories: Beginner, Advanced and Master.

Crew passes are $50 per person for the four-day weekend or $15 per day. Event flyer information is available at www.us131msp.com. Gates open Friday at 12 noon, Saturday, Sunday and Monday at 8 am with a single time trial run each day at 9:30 am. As always on race day, a non-denominational chapel service, CrossTalk will be at 8:30 am in the pit side grandstands.
