Battle for Track Championships Heats Up in Lane Automotive Bracket Series~

In the concluding event of Northern Nationals weekend at US 131 Motorsports Park, Plainwell’s Jordan Parker, Chris Mesbergen of Norton Shores and Kalamazoo’s Matt Nap claimed the Lane Automotive Bracket Series hardware and earned valuable points toward track championships in the Top ET, Modified and Street classes, respectively.

For Nap, it was a particularly sweet win since it followed on the heels of a loss in Saturday’s final round to Allendale’s Kurt Jolliff.  Parker got a free ride when Lawton’s Joe Wright was guilty of a foul start by four thousandths of a second and Mesbergen prevailed when Howard City’s Nate Alexander was guilty of a breakout foul.
