NORTHERN NATIONALS FEATURING PDRA AND HCU FUNNY CAR NATIONALS TOP 2023 SCHEDULE

NMCA/NMRA Power Festival, Funny Car Nationals Among Other Feature Events~

A 2023 schedule featuring the Honor Credit Funny Car Nationals, the NMCA/NMRA Power Festival and the Northern Nationals and including the Lane Automotive Bracket Series was announced today by US 131 Motorsports Park and Marketing Director Stephanie Peterson.

The NMCA/NMRA Power Festival returns July 20-23 with the world’s fastest muscle cars racing on Michigan’s fastest track.  Two weeks later (Aug. 4-5), it’s the Northern Nationals for the first time including the stars of the PDRA (Professional Drag Racers Association).

The Honor Credit Union Funny Car Nationals, featuring the Funny Cars, Top Dragsters and Pro Modifieds of the Midwest Drag Racing Series, will wrap up the main event season Sept. 8-9.

No fooling, opening day at US 131 will be Saturday, April 1, 2023 for a test-and-tune session.  The first major event will be the Memorial Day Weekend US 131 Lane Bracket Series, May 26-29.

Also featured in the April-to-October slate will be the annual F.A.S.T. Drags (May 12-13), Grudge Racing (May 19-21), Street Car Takeover (June 9-10), 8^th Annual Import vs. Domestic (June 23-25), SFG bracket race (June 29-July 2), JJ’s Arm Drop Championship (July 14-15), 16^th Annual Summer Bug Run open to VW & all German makes (July 16), the Bottom Bulb Bash and Jr. Dragster Bonanza (July 27-30), the “Party with Marty” Harley Drags (Aug. 26), Woody’s Super Sled Shootout (Sept. 15-17), Grudge Racing (Sept. 29-30), and the 17^th Annual Fall Bug Run (Oct. 1).
