We are currently putting the final touches on the 2020 racing season schedule.  The tentative 2020 schedule has been released, just a couple more additions to make.  We hope to finalize this soon.

Mark your schedules for the 2019 Champion Awards banquet that is scheduled for January 25, 2020 hosted once again at the Fetzer Center in Kalamazoo on Western Michigan’s Campus.  This is a fun-filled evening honoring our Lane Automotive Bracket Series racers.  The food is wonderful, and the camaraderie is even better! Tickets for the event remain at $32 and can be purchased by calling the track office at 269-672-7800, email us at info@us131msp.com or send us a message via Facebook.

At this time, those who had a reserved power pit spot in 2019 are able to now renew your spot for the upcoming 2020 season.  You may also enter points into the 2020 Lane Bracket Series. Classes are as follows: Top ET, Modified, Street, Master Jr. Dragster, Advanced Jr. Dragster and Beginner Jr. Dragster.  As a reminder, make sure that your IHRA Summit Super Series license and number are up to date.  Street (Sportsman) racers will want to make sure that you register your number correctly with your class.  As you may recall, the IHRA Summit Super Series is for Top ET, Modified, Street and Jr Dragster classes.

One notable change that will be made with the Modified class here at US 131 MSP for 2020, is that the Modified class will be competing on the eighth-mile.  The Street will remain running on the quarter-mile until later in the year as we move to the eighth-mile.  This is in preparation for the IHRA Bracket Team Finals here at US 131 MSP that we run on the eighth-mile, all classes.

We look forward to seeing each and every one of you during the 2020 racing season as it is sure to be another fantastic year!
