US 131 Motorsports Park Celebrates All Things Chevrolet in Saturday Festival

MARTIN, Mich. – If you’re a bow tie guy, even a female “bow tie guy,” US 131 Motorsports Park is your oyster this Saturday (June 3).

That’s when Michigan’s fastest track partners with the world’s No. 1 Chevrolet enthusiast magazine to present the Original Super Chevy Show featuring show cars and show trucks, three GM-only drag races, a Chevy-centric swap meet, two classes of Jr. Dragsters and exhibition runs by some of the most unique vehicles on the planet.

It’s the series that for 31 seasons has operated with the approval and support of Super Chevy Magazine whose staff members will be on-site not only to present special Editor’s Choice Awards but also to identify vehicles that may be featured in future editions of the magazine, both print and on-line.

Whether it is a passion for Camaros, Cavaliers, Corvairs or Corvettes; Berettas, Bel Airs, Bolts or Biscaynes; Nomads, Novas, Monzas or Monte Carlos; S-10s, Sonics, Sparks or Silverados, Cruzes, El Caminos, Cobalts or Suburbans, there likely will be a vehicle or vehicles that will address it.

It simply is the biggest one-day Super Chevy Show in the Great Lakes region.

After a special test-and-tune session on Friday ($25 for car and driver, 5 p.m.-11 p.m.), spectator gates will open for the Original Super Chevy Show at 9 a.m. Saturday with a special Run for the Money bracket event a 12:30 p.m. and first round of racing in Bracket 1 (Top ET), Bracket 2 (Modified), DOT Street Eliminator, Jr. Dragster Beginner (7-12 years old) and Jr. Dragster Advanced (12-17 years old) classes at 1 p.m
