BOTTOM BULB BASH/JR. DRAGSTER BONANZA
Bottom bulb racing is the core race group across the country. There are no electronics allowed (other than a trans-brake). Racers that are included in this race are No-Box and Sportsman racers from WDRA, Modified and Street racers from IHRA and Pro and Sportsman racers from NHRA, no-box cars allowed. Bottom Bulb refers to when the driver leaves the starting line. 2024’s event will be a three-day event paying a winning purse of $10,000 to win on Saturday and $5000 each day Friday and Sunday. In addition Jr. Dragsters will be competing in an “ALL” run class paying $150 to win on Friday. Saturday and Sunday Jr Races will be Lane Automotive Points races for the Jr Dragster classes with the Master and Advanced classes paying $500 to win and Beginners class paying $150 to win. Thursday will be early parking and offer a $35 Test and Tune, gates open at 12 Noon with test and tune running from 5pm-9pm. Friday there will be an added special index race for Jrs (11.90, 8.90 and 7.90)
New for 2024 will be the addition for the Slick Sixty Production 32 car High Roller for the big cars as well as a High and Low Roller for the Jr Dragsters these races will be conducted on Saturday.
Fri, Sat and Sun Gates open at 8 am daily with time trial starting at 9 am for Friday and Saturday. First Rd of eliminations at 9am on Sunday (There will be one time run for Jr’s on Sunday). Entry fees for Bottom Bulb racers are $225 at the gate for two or three-day. $200 for Saturday and $150 for Sunday only. Jr. Dragster entry fees are $75 for the weekend or $45 for Saturday or Sunday. Crew and spectator admission is $40 for the weekend, $35 for a three-day pass or $15 per day.
