These are evenings the track is open to anyone and everyone to race down “The Fastest Track in Michigan!”.  It doesn’t matter if you are driving a fast racecar or “mom’s grocery getter” anyone can drive down the racetrack.  These events are offered on specific Wednesdays and Fridays.  The open Test & Tune evenings on Wednesdays are named Wild Wednesdays, CARSTAR Fridays are Fun ‘n Grudge and once a month during the Fun ‘n Grudge US 131 features a Midnight Madness.   There are at least two Wild Wednesdays per month, several Fun ‘n Grudge and one Midnight Madness event.

Wild Wednesdays

Spectators only $5 and just $15 to race!  Participants will not want to miss these bargain nights. The US 131 Motorsports Park staff will be available to assist anyone interested in learning more about drag racing and bracket racing.  We will run open time runs for the first part of the event.  Drivers will then be able to place a dial-in on their car, if they choose, and run just as if they were running in an actual bracket race.  All just for fun to see who can take the win light!

Gates open at 5pm, racing from 6pm to 10pm.

CARSTAR Friday nights include an open Test & Tune for any and all vehicles, novice or seasoned racer.  Similar to Wild Wednesdays drivers can make unlimited time runs all evening and pair up against other racers for grudge matches.   Whether you want to just test your vehicle, run against one another or just hang out with friends this is the place to be on Friday nights.

Gates open at 5pm, racing from 6pm to 11pm

Admission is $12 and just an additional $8 to run your vehicle

Children ages 6-12 are $5 and children under 6 are FREE

US 131 Motorsports Park will continue this popular “street scene” competition with late night racing and discounted gate fees.  Including burnout contests, How to Race brochures, US 131 Motorsports Park staff on hand to explain terms, procedures and rules.  All clubs welcome.  New this year is the CARSTAR Show ‘n Go competition.  Anyone can enter, it’s FREE, compliments of CARSTAR!  Vehicles will be displayed in a car show fashion and winners will be determined by people’s choice.  Fans and racers attending these events will have the opportunity to judge and vote on the best vehicle.

Discounted admission rates start at 8pm until 1am. Entry fee only $5.00 per person and only $15.00 to race.

Both the Fun ‘n Grudge and Midnight Madness events are the ideal place to take it off the streets and onto the track in a safe, controlled and accurate environment where racers can battle it out.  Who can argue with a win light?  Unlike illegal street racing, there’s no room for error with US 131 Motorsports Park’s modern timing system.
